"Control" copy
I´m looking for sales letters that have become your "controls". I have tried a couple of searches on Google but I´m not finding what I´m looking for (perhaps I´m asking the wrong terms).
Ideally what I would like to see is a list of sales letters that have the status of "control". Even more ideally I would like to find out the conversion rates of those controls.
To date I have only come across one such control sales letters ( I know it is that because I got it sent to me about 3 times over a period of 2 years, but it was direct mail, not IM material).
I suppose what it would give me is a rough idea of the style used by different copywriters and a figure to do the math in a hypothetical launch.
Can you copywriters of the forum shed some light on this matter?
