There is a video player (software) that will play an array of video formats and it is 100% free. This open source video player has versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Check it out: VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player |

I installed the app a couple of days ago but haven't tried it out. WMP has a little bit of trouble with flv files, even with the right codec. Will try this app out and see how it goes! |

Let me know how it goes. This player is crazy! I'm only starting to discover the functionality of it. I was just taking video snapshots with it.

I've been using VLC myself for several years. It's great stuff. The only other one which I recommend is Media Player Classic. What I love about these players... they're free, they're awesome, they're fast, they're updated regularly and they got no ads. Asher |

Wow, most of you discovered this way before me. If I'd known about VLC it sooner, it would have spared me a fair bit of grief, lol.

You can play any video formats in vlc player. Every time I got new movies or videos I play it in vlc and it plays well. You could modify the audio level and you could also create a playlist.
