Salesletter to Your Door!

Big long salesletter offering home study course. Eyes were focused on mouse scroller. I saw the usual sign up for free stuff button so went and input my name, address etc to get this free information pack. (as you do).

What's interesting is that it arrived this morning and was a complete printout of the whole salesletter on A4 paper in a little stapled together booklet. Also included was a cover letter and a litte post it note instructing me to get the first part of the course.

So I input my name and address details, for a free information pack and end up with a printout of the salesletter.

I thought this was pretty effective..

What's the buzz on this one.. Mr and Mrs Marketer's

    Definitely different. It sounds like it was effective enough to get you interested in.

    I find it interesting how I look through mail I get now and compare them to online salesletters.

    I think one of the most creative things I've ever seen was a salesletter that was written entirely in crayon. It was graphics rather than a font. It was really unique looking.

    I never saw it anywhere else, guess it wasn't effective lol.

    That's an interesting method.

    How about instead of the sales page on paper, send a cd with the sales pitch on video?

    It would cost a little more, but it would be interesting to see if it works.

      This is a well used tactic in MLM systems. I signed up to a few and they all did the same. Sent out a DVD.
