With Wordpress MU you can install many different blogs with many admins on 1 domain, with wordpress you would install only one blog.

Wordpress MU allows others to sign up for a blog on your site. You could disable it but then why use it in the first place?

With the normal wordpress, it's only one blog, and people can just leave comments.

Can wordpress MU enable you to run multiple blogs across different domains, all from within the single wordpress MU admin area?

Just wondering, I have a number of Wordpress sites set up, currently usinG WP Hive to manage numerous sites. I am now looking at a faster simpler way to manage them.

I think I have two options: WP Manager DX and Wordpress MU. One is free the other costs $97. Does anyone use Wordpress MU to handle multiple affiliate sites, using similar themes and plugins? Am I right in thinking that using MU I can quickly set up different sites using the same theme configured in the same way, so all I have to do is add the content?

Does anyone have much experience in using Wordpress Mu for this? Will I need to be very technical to use it and are most plugins compatible with Mu?
