Curious to know what your take on tweeting is. Do you think that the people that follow you actually pay attention to your tweets or are they really just hoping that your going to pay attention to their tweets? So, do you think twitter can get you leads?

this is a good question... I have used Twitter to develop relationships through DM's and RT's. I do think everyone hopes their tweets are important to others without paying attendtion to other individual's tweets

Twitter is good exactly for developing relationships. Don't expect to find a hungry crowd, waiting to see what you tell them to buy, there.

People who are interested in my niche will pay attention but there is no guarantee that every one will pay attention to my tweets. I am not sure about how many leads can we get.

I get a bit of traffic from Twitter, but that's probably because I usually post tweets that might actually help somebody!

    Yes and Yes and Yes.

I posted a link yesterday and, in the span of a few minutes, had almost 70 views on the page.

Sometimes you can do better though. It's just a matter of hitting at the right time and getting the right people to see your tweet. And, if it's something especially interesting or useful, it'll be retweeted.

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Great question and one I have been undergoing for the last two month. Honestly I hardly use twitter to actually communicate with people one on one. Its just so hard in my eyes to find people and messages directed to you and then keep up with them all. Everyone out there has been saying get as many followers as possible and promote. While at first I though this might be a total waste of time it has actually proved not to be. This is why...

Things you want to do with your twitter profile.
    1. Add your picture, logo or something people will remember
    2. Customize your background and add in your website urls blogs, main sites forums whatever you may have.

This is going to brand you and get people to see your site and face a bit more. It also added a bit of a level of professionalism like this guy or gal is serious about what they are promoting on their twitter page and what they have to say.

After you have that set up add the max people you can each day. Just click on find people type in a keyword about what your going to be linking to next affiliate product or what have you and add away. While doing so create some random posts so your profile does not look like link after link of product pushing. It does help.

I right now follow this rule. Add max people for the day wait 24 hours add max people for the day again and then wait another 24 hours. After which I go to twitter Karama and remove anyone that has not followed me back and follow those who follow me but I do not follow them yet. So its 2 days of adding 1 day of rest and then clean up crew then back to adding.

I tracked my ads with just 6,000 followers now. While the numbers are not massive I have had visitors and sign ups from my tweets! My rough average I would say with my 5,000 followers is now 125 visitors and about 10 conversions on a free product. While its not huge numbers it is still numbers and people I would not have reached other wise all done via just a few minutes of my time each day.

    Hope this helps out

Twitter is like Facebook. Some is only trying to collect the most friends/followers.
And they visit the links you tweet if they are tempting enough.
The word FREE should spike some interest.
    But, buy...? Well...
