Which is the right way for article marketing? Outsourcing or Writing articles ourselves?

I have just noticed that the articles I wrote have more CTR than the articles I outsourced. But when I outsourced, I did not get emotionally attached to my campaigns... I would just submit them in bulk and not care about the results too much. It was profitable enough anyway.

The articles I wrote myself are definitely performing better than the former, but I am getting emotionally attached to it and is hard to ignore when you see an article with very little views sometimes. Also if I am writing them, I cannot scale it... there is a cap on how much I can work.

Many of you may have reached a point in your journey which resembles mine. So please guide if you have been there done that...

Whenever you reach the level where you can afford to outsource, especially for things like article marketing, always do so. Your time is money, and things that save you time allow you to use your time more effectively to make more money.

Outsourcing them allows you to test different styles, different niches a lot quicker than writing them yourself simply because you can get more done in a quicker time.

As for performance, it's all a matter of finding an article writer who can write in the style you want and paying them what they're worth to your business. That way you save yourself doing the work yourself and get the articles written exactly the way you wanted them to be.

Personally, I would say you should figure out how to do it correctly. Then, when you have a formula that works for you, share that with the people that you have writing for you. After all, if they don't know what you want, how can they give it to you?

Anyways.. I think it depends upon many different factors, such as can you afford to outsource, will you save time and money by outsourcing, can you work with someone that is going to deliver exactly what you want, and etc.. These are decisions that only you can make as nobody knows your situation better than you do.

Realize though not all articles are going to get high views and clicks no matter who writes them. Different articles will perform differently even if they are on the same subject. Some articles will just outperform others and this is what testing is all about, find what does work for you and copy it over and over.

The performance also depends upon the backlinks you are building to those articles also. It's just like marketing a website... First you must get the interested people to read your article and then keep their attention long enough to click on that resource box link..

I personally do both, but aim to have 100% outsourcing. I use videos to help train my outsourcing peeps to write the way I want. Sometimes it's a real bummer when you put a lot of work in training someone and it does not work out in the end. Yet, if you can train someone and they are willing to learn to do it "your" way, it is very rewarding both in the quality of work you get, and the price you pay for better quality work. I am currently paying about $2.50 an hour for good work. However, it is important to note that I do train these people to do things right. You can get a lot of work done for $2.00 or so an hour, but the quality you get is pretty poor.

I don't like to spend more than 4 hours a day online so outsourcing is my goal for pretty much everything that doesn't absolutely require my brain.
