Only made 3 sales in four months-How can I get a few sales or more a week?

I have been working on my site for four months. It is a very exact niche site solving quite a big problem with the ebook I'm affiliated to.

I use ezine to get traffic and have had over 800 URL clicks.

I had the first sale in the first few days of getting traffic.
I made the second and third sale on the same day as I made some changes to the site. A months went by and I had no more sales so I thought I would make some changes to the site.
The problem with that is, I make no sales, I change something and I make no sales. It's near impossible to track what's wrong if you are not making sales.

What should I be doing? What am I doing wrong? How can I make 3-5 sales a week?

    send your traffic to a landing/optin page and build a list. Then provide your list with great content that relates to the product and build up to the sale.

    You will get many more sales this way.

    Not everyone who logs onto the internet goes to EZA. You need more traffic from different sources. EZA also has plenty of nosy authors who like to click on links and check things out so a percentage of your traffic will be pretty much worthless. (although 200 visitors a month is hardly enough traffic)

    Start building a blog around your niche. Make videos to help presell the product or provide useful content to the person watching it. You are already writing articles, start making videos talking about the same thing you did in the article.

    Social bookmark all of your content to further expand its reach.

    Get active in niche forums answering questions and place your blog as a signature link.

    Listen to winebuddy and start building a list.

    Stop tweaking the site and start creating more content. Content drives traffic. Traffic = Sales.

    Go and create good LP so that it can create more conversions if I would be there in 800 Clicks I would generate minimum 250 Sales. So, again and again I will say one thing onle that LP should be strong.

    You probably need to submit more articles and provide more content out there with link backs to your site. It will take work.

    Are you only using article marketing to promote your product? If so look for more methods to bring in traffic. Traffic is key you can build the best product out there but if people are not seeing it you wont make the sales

    What are you selling an ebook or an ebook related product?

    If so, you need to create some cool splash pages and rotate them in all the traffic exchanges you can. Traffic Exchanges mat not work with certain niches. But for ebooks, MLM and launching new programs or products it works pretty good. Because it displays full sale pages while it creates awareness and brands at the same time. Be sure to combine the splash pages with an autoresponder so you can also build a list. Then you keep following up and generating sales.

    You can also do some forum commenting in related threads and social bookmarkings.

    MarkH45 makes sense. Just add a bit more to your traffic strategy.
    If you have money and the skills use Adwords. If Seo skills use SEO.
    If none of above use Social Traffic. Twitter is a good place to start.
    I remember what Michael Cheney said, and you should too. Internet marketing is like pumping water from an old fashioned water pump. You pump like hell to get the water up, but you gotta keep pumping or it'll stop!
    You're doing better than most, you've made sales. So put your site back the way it was when you made sales, and drive more traffic.

    Start using other traffic methods. Not everybody who wants
    your product reads articles. You need diversity of traffic to
    capture more visitors.
