Make money with Wealthy Affiliates?

Has anybody heard of or used wealthy affiliates by kyle and carlson. I am a complete newbie to the IM world and don't know much but have been recommended to join wealthy affiliates because it is a great foundation for complete beginners like me to get started and with all the help and tools i need there. I have a tight budget and the site needs a subscription fee of 38usd each month so i am unsure if i should invest my hard earned money with these guys. I have heard lots of great news about this site so before i decide to take any actions i wanted to ask the people of WF first because i know you guys have GREAT info and suggestions!

I was a member of WA for some time when I was first starting to learn about internet marketing about a year and a half ago. Yeah, the monthly fee is $38 but for what you get out of it is priceless. Even if you give it a go for say two or three months you will gain so much knowledge. The eight week marketing course really takes you step by step through the basic things you need to know to start earning money. Also, I can't say enough good things about how great and helpful the forum is there. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I also used to be a member and thought it was a good value - I no longer do affiliate marketing so that's why I dropped out.

They have a lot of good training material, worth the membership cost in my opinion.

Hey thanks seth did you start out from scratch with WA? I have bought many ebooks and read plenty of hype and scams where they promise i will make tons of money in a short amount of time, after wasting all that money i now know that there is not a way to get rich quickly and understand that a lot of hard work and learning is involved. I have seen countless programs out there which i have signed up with and tried and seems that they aren't complete and some just skim through basic concepts and leave me guessing the rest of the time. So instead of running around trying out all different sorts of other programs if WA or any other programs that anybody can suggest out there is good then i would like to stick with just one program and learn from there. Any other suggestions besides WA to get started with or is WA my best choice?

I had a trial membership and found the information to be very good. I don't know if it's the best choice for a really new newbie because it seemed like most of the info assumes you already have a basic understanding of Internet marketing, but it's possible that I'm wrong since I wasn't part of it for long.

Honestly I wouldn't join the Wealthy Affiliate. It does have good information, but it is nothing compared to what is shared on the WF and you can pay the $38 that you pay monthly for the war room and that will be all you will need.

The warrior forum is a GOLD MINE if you put what you learn in to action. I'm not saying the Wealthy Affiliate isn't good its just nothing compared to the warrior forum. Here you can see so many diffrent things on IM and choose what you like then learn. There are is so much info on this forum I think the Admin should make it a private forum.

So my advice is use those $38 for a War Room membership and save the rest of the monthly fees and get to work reading and learning.

I joined WA 2 years ago when I didn't know anything at all and it was really helpful. I learned quite a lot there and started building websites with their website builder which is really easy.

I did feel that I outgrew it eventually, and at that point I found everything I needed here. But when I was very new it was a great place to learn. Good tools there also. Lots of really excellent information in the forum too, especially if you go back and read older posts by some of the "old timers" over there. You can find some real gems. I missed the forum most when I left.

Yea thats what happened to me and thats what stops you from making money. Honestly even though I do cpa I think doing Affiliate Marketing is the best start becasue you can easily branch out. The most important thing is to concentrate on one thing if you do more than one it become hard to make any money. So pick something and stick to it. Don't go looking for new things.

Cool I'm interested in bodybuilding too and thinking to make a product or membership site soon. Well that is a really hot niche. You can create a great product on that and then create a site and drive traffic or you can start promoting health products from clickbank. Create a blog and start writing about bodybuilding. Build a list and then send them your product or a product.

Basically what I'm saying is put content everyday about bodybuilding and build your list while you learn more about affiliate marketing and all. Then when your list has a good amount send them an email selling your product or another person's product and getting commissions.

I had a membership with WA. I learned all that I could there, and after that point IMO it wasn't worth the continuing monthly fee (for me). But there are some great people there. I made sure that I kept my relationships with certain people there in tact, as I consider them to be friends now.

But I gotta be completely honest here. After finding the Warrior Forum, I thought to myself, "Damn I wish I would have found this place first", simply because there is A LOT more info here, and A LOT more people to help you if you need it.

Plus, I love helping people, and I get to do it here for FREE! Although, if the Admin was ever going to charge a (one-time) fee for a membership for access to these forums, I would gladly pay it. IMO, in all my internet travels, these are the BEST IM forums I have ever come across on the internet. Whatever you can learn at WA, you can also learn right here, and then some.

Whether Wealthy Affiliate is right for you really depends on several factors, including what stage you are in the internet marketing learning curve, whether $39/month membership would break the bank, and how you learn best.

I have been a member of WA since I started internet marketing, and it did really help me get up to speed very quickly. It is geared toward seo/article marketing and ppc stuff, whereas there are other types of affiliate marketing or affiliate programs which aren't really discussed there that is very commonly discussed here on the subforums.

Now, I am still a member of WA as I have many friendships there I still keep (and the monthly price really is nothing). Plus, I finally got into their own affiliate program and now i have a google 1st page site for "wealthy affiliate"
