Do article directories accept PLR articles? If yes, do you think it would help bring in some traffic by submiting such articles, or since they are most likely everywhere, they wont stand a chance to be seen by visitors(they wont rank very well if at all)?

Ezine articles does not accept PLR. You must change it and then submit it, The best place to use PLR is in your site with some changes but not so much. Then do some good linking. You can then change the same article and submit it to the directories. You can use the PLR to make videos with some changes or you can use them to offer a free ebook or ecourse in which case you just put in your affiliate links.
    I hope this helps but.

LOL, Ezine does not even accept original articles that talk about using PLR articles. That is how sticky they are on the subject.

Yeah you can't even rewrite your OWN articles - Ezine is like the former USSR.

90% of PLR Articles are junk ... This mainly depends upon the subject but most subjects are junk due to the fact that no research was done, the info on them are wrong, the spelling, formatting, grammar is junk.

If you want to junk up the internet some more and get nothing in return then go ahead and submit them. If you want article marketing to work for you, then write original articles yourself or go research the actual subject and rewrite the plr completely.

Good piece of advice. If your niche is something you intend to get in for the long term, you'd better write and submit high quality articles.

not all sites for article submiting accepts url. if your article is original, you can put the related links in the article itself. the premise is the words themselves are the content of the article.

Not to mention some article directories pay attention to who are the ones that submit high quality articles... Since you have no idea who are the ones that actually do pay attention, it is best to always submit high quality articles..

By providing higher quality articles some of these directories will allow you to get away with a little more over the ones that just submit junk for backlinks... People never think of this though, I wonder why ....

You really need to rewrite any PLR article or it will just be one of many (dozens, hundreds, thousands?) of duplicates. I recently read somewhere (I forget where) that most good article directories check originality using Copyscape.

The answer obviously was no they will not allow you to use anything but original content articles. The only way I use PLR material is if I do a lot more of my own research for whatever topic the PLR covers. And then I completely write my own article. Ezine articles is picky, but for a good reason. I have only had them reject two articles that I had written and really not sure why? I think the work is well worth it.

The real question you should be asking yourself is:

Do I want to submit PLR content to an article directory, or anywhere for that matter.

    Peace

Article directories will not accept PLR articles, or anything that remotely resembles PLR articles. For the most part, they are pretty much junk, but you can take that junk and use the structure of it to form your own articles, featuring your own content and your own unique view point.

Completely stripping and re-writing PLR content is a great way for people who have trouble writing to practice, actually.

Article directories are very strict about PLR, they will not accept them.If you must use PLR articles on article directories you need to rewrite them completely. It is still easier than coming up with a 400-800 word article from scratch.

Even if they did, submiting PLR articles to directories is WAY lazy. The traffic you do get will eventually catch on to your laziness.
