hi guys, i am new to internet marketing and looking forward to make my own website. I am a little confused about using related keywords in my website content. the question that i want to ask is whether i should use same keywords for all the pages on my website or should I change them accoring to the topic. another question that i would like to ask is that how much keyword competition is ok in order to rank high in search engines. thanks in advance.

Hi Ambetious, It's good to hear that you are looking to start your own website and ppc campaign. First, you shouldn't use the exact same keywords for all the pages in your website. You probably have at least moderately different content on the pages and therefore you should at least use some different keywords that fit well with the content on that particular page. Too much of the same stuff will look suspicious to google. As far as competition goes, it depends on what you are looking to do. If you want natural free ranking in google or other search engines you will want low competition for your keywords. It is tough to say how low....you ultimately want a keyword that is very relevant to your content but also low competition and high search volume. Personally, i would recommend using very relevant niche keywords that might not have massive search volume but very low competition (around 5,000 when put keyword in quotes and type in google). This will give you a much better click through rate and top rankings very easily! Best of Luck To You In Making Money |
