Software Licenses - What to Use?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi

I am creating a software for the web. The software is quite
expensive 7-8000 USD. I have a investor group who has the
same ownership as me. However the software will reside on
my Java Server.

What type of license should I provide them to give
them the right to the software but copyrights kept to the
founder/creator (me) ?

Hi Daniel,

My comment is a bit redundant, but as Andy and Big Mike said, get a laywer who specialises in this kind of thing.

Congrats on finishing what is apparently a HUGE project though! That's always a good feeling!

Alot of the sites I have developed cost in the range of $10,000 - $35,000.. I am not sure I fully understand your question.

If you are wanting to protect your application and if it is php then encrypt it with IonCube - PHP Encoder, protection, installer and performance tools from ionCube: Home

Also along with ioncube you can use a licensing website known as Php Audit - SolidPHP Products: Licensing, Billing & Invoice, Knowledge Base

As far as you creating a license agreement this is pretty standard and a laywer is not required for such..
