Try forums and Yahoo/Google groups to find out what people are talking about. It's pointless creating a product nobody wants to know about, so find out what they want, then research online to get them the answers. |

There's loads of ways of gathering research for ebook content. ONLINE:
I would give you more tips but I don't want to overload you with too much information. Any other warriors care to add to this? Garry. P.S. These are not tricks that require you just to wave a magic wand for instant results - you may have to work a little to gather your required research. |

brilliant tips by gaarymsayer up above, hes tackled this particular question fully. gathering good info will require you to arm yourself with google skills that will enable you to craft a search query that will show you want you want to "hear". i use the hear in quotation marks because long complex queries tend to cluster together keywords thst sort of filter out all opinions that dont have the keywords that you wanna hear. for instance, to find this webpage i used the query (ideas-ebook OR niche) google-search (tips OR tricks) site:warriorforum.com ----the operator "-" in between words with no space brings up webpages which have "ebook ideas" or "ideas ebook", throw that OR in there now makes it a variable between, ideas ebook, ebook ideas, ideas niche or niche ideas, so it shows pages with either all four in the webpage, anyone with additional insight please correct me if im wrong that particular search was not veeeery complex but it sort of drills down a bit on the variation of words that i set as a criteria for warrior threads that i thought were worthy and that had the necessary information that i needed. in general, i would advice you to 1. learn how to google like a pro, learn about all those advanced operators, then mix that new knowledge with the wisdom that you have of that niche that you want to write about, when you add those two together you will be able to make complex queries that will only bring up the best and most packed articles 2. do a lot of keyword research to understand this niche that you want to write an ebook for, an understanding of keywords people use will give you more insight as to "what their problem is" and "where their coming from" 3. always read other related products last, first do your research, understand the niche well enough, make a tonne of notes in your notebooks, brainstorm ideas (for future products AND/OR freebies) once you have done all this you can look at other peoples products so that when you're reading them youll be like "i like hows he done it, but i have a better way of doing it" instead of "wow, what a great idea, il do the same" , that way you have a more original product that could stand out in the market place and not look like its copying another product all the best man, hope you had success with that ebook |

Finding, getting or paying for content is the easy part - the MOST important thing to both writing an ebook that people will want and find valuable AND making it easy as well as quick is to... 1. Know the ultimate question or purpose you are addressing with your ebook...this should be organized around avoiding a strong pain or achieving a very highly demanded pleasure. For example, How can I lose 10lbs without giving up the food I love? That would be the ultimate question - the question you have got to organize all of the other questions and content around. Having your info product organized around a highly demanded, clear and urgent desired question sets it apart from all of the others that simply seek to "inform" 2. And Then...come up with an outline of questions for each chapter...Ex. If your ultimate objective is to teach losing weight without giving up what someone loves...you want to have a chapter on 1) Why we gain weight - the factors involved 2) Tackling the stress behind weight gain 3) How much exercise do you REALLY need? 4) The non-dieter's Diet Plan 5) How to keep focus and motivation for long-term weight loss...etc Then, within each chapter, you can use the techniques and places listed above to organize questions your market has falling into each catetory as well as begin collecting the most promising tips, techniques and examples This way - your research is guided as opposed to just floundering around collecting lots of nice info - but wasting allot of time because you didn't start with a plan. This really is the key to getting hot info products out in as little as a few weeks. Jeff |

The "Find Content" module in Market Samurai, but what Garry said involves neither a $149 investment nor a need to hire someone for it...

The easiest ways to do accomplish this goal is this. *get ebooks in the same niche you want *rewrite them *market them better or cheaper You can also use google and harvest as much info as you can on the niche and rewrite write it. Sadly most people that buy reports or ebooks can't be bothered googling a subject. Get paid off their laziness mate. |
