Market Samurai results vs. google keyword tool results: Question

I just bought MS, and had a question. MS shows the searches in days, whereas the google keyword toll shows results monthly.

I was looking at a few keywords in MS and noticed that when I multiplied the daily number of searches by 30 (a month), the results were a little higher than the google keyword tool.

For example. One keyword with MS equaled 1800 monthly searches where the google keyword tool showed 1500.

I have both MS and the keyword tool on Exact Phrase Match. Since MS gets its info from google, why are the results different, and who should I trust?

I think, but am not sure each/your case that it can vary slightly
according to which regional data center MS is pulling from.

Hopefully, one of the MS dudes sees this.

I have seen them address it well in the past,
but it was quite awhile ago.

    Who should you trust?

I wouldn't really trust either of them. The results are not always accurate and should be just used as a basic guideline or even just educational purposes.

The only way to increase accuracy or trust is to run the term on multiple different keyword tools to get an average.

Your results come from different Google data centres even though you might be accessing Google.com. If you're gonna trust anything, trust Google directly and do your manual analysis further.

That's the problem. I dont trust google It seems the reality of keyword search volume is much less than what they show in their keyword tool

I think its just a general figure, all the different keyword software seem to come up with different results but I think you can average it out to get the general picture for analysis
