Spamming Ezine Links

More of a rant than anything. I have 10 articles that went live this morning on Ezine.

Three of my articles have three times as many URL clicks than views, so it shows that I have a 300% click through rate.

It seems like someone is just trying to mess with me, and this is screwing up my ability to track how well my article is converting!!!

      So are you saying that internet marketers should not use article directories as a viable traffic generating technique?

      Or are you saying that we shouldn't bother using the directory stats?

    I agree with ProductCreator, I try to wait at least a week before looking at any stats on anything. You have to give it time. You know boiling water and all...

    I would not worry about it too much, just keep focusing on your own efforts and driving traffic to your site. As long as EZA doesn't come at you bogus don't worry about it.

    Why not rely on your own stats to tell how well it converts ?? In other words your should have a server that has stats and you should know what sells you make.

    People worry way too much over stats from other sites...

    Thanks for all the responses. I am guessing it is just lag as it seems like its starting to even out.

    About tracking my own stats, the reason I was looking at Ezines stats is because I am testing a new niche so I am just redirecting to an affiliate link before I actually create a product/put up my own page.

    As far as I know I can't use google analytics or anything of that sort to track unique visitors if I am redirecting to someone else's page.
