My subscribers would tell you that rarely ever do I send out emails telling people to go and buy someone elses product. I think in about 6 years I have recommended about 3 - 5 products via my blog and newsletter that I have personally used or had the chance to go over that were someone elses.

As the way i see it, at least within the internet marketing community,

I refuse to send out stuff for the sake of gaining a quick buck.

Over the years I have had a lot of people contact me via email to ask if I would promote their product and I have to say the approach people take is quite absurd. I don't know if they are aware of it or not but

1. expecting people to promote your product, when your not willing to show your product is just plain daft. I literally had someone just show me their website sales page, that was it. Like yeah.. that tells me a lot lol

2. expecting people to promote it, if they show you their product. Again showing your product doesn't mean its worth promoting.

3. expecting people to promote a product which looks like its just come out of the 1 cent ebay info product pile is just lame. Take some time to make it presentable, crikey o riley!

4. expecting people to promote it just because the gravity on clickbank is high

5. expecting people to consider themselves fortunate to get the offer of promoting your product.

6. expecting people to go do all the work. Forget that.. setup the link, setup a page and deliver it all if you want to ride the wave of another persons subscriber list.

Also, at least try and establish a relationship with the person before you ask can you do this and this for me.
