Keyword problems question

I found a new product that I want to promote and I have talked to the publisher. He has allowed me to swipe some of his graphics so there is a little continuity between the pre sell and the sales page. I don't know if that is a good idea or not, but I thought it would help.

I am at the part I hate the most. Keywords! Choices, too many choices, and I don't have the funds for expensive tools. With a big learning curve. Is this something that can be outsourced? I thought I saw someone selling something along these lines here some time back. I am guessing that it would be kind of expensive though.

Any suggestions or feedback?

Thanks.

    Hi Tim

What are you wanting from these keywords? There are free ways to find good keywords with the external google tool and testing competition.

I use wordtracker because I can find all the keywords I need in a few minutes. Why don't you buy a one month subscription to test it out.

This would certainly be a lot cheaper than hiring me or another warrior to do the work for you

I figured the cost to outsource would be pretty high, but I just wasn't sure. My biggest fear is competence. I have been playing with some free tools today, and what I come up with made me think, go to WF and ask. I don't really know what the hell I am doing.

I probably picked a steep hill to climb because I picked a manual on "College Student Went From Earning A Measly $1,500 A Month To Quitting His Day Job And Raking In A Massive $18". But the sales page intrigued me and I contacted the author and he immediately sent me a preview copy and before I knew it I was committed. Don't get me wrong, I am excited at the thought of it. I am just now facing the bumps in the road that usually come up and trying to deal with them as best as I can. I will get the keywords as best I can, or work without them and put more effort into other types of marketing.

Renting Wordtracker doesn't help much if you don't know what to do with it. It is funny how all these products tell you how easy it is and anyone can do it if you just send me $xx and follow my program. It is just never QUITE as easy as they make it seem. I do know that the second one will be a lot easier than the first one, and the third even easier. And I will get through the first one, because I refuse to be stopped by any problem.

But I guess to answer your question, what I want, a few decent keywords that would be appropriate to the product I am trying to promote and HOPEFULLY provide some free traffic.
