$10/day with Adsense

Short (and naive) question:

Is it difficult to reach $10/day with an Adsense site?

How difficult would this be and how long would it take?

    Yes you can do this as Big Mike, but why trade pennies for dollars.

    In order to do this you have to drive traffic to the adsense ads, why not drive them to affiliate offers and Ads that pay you dollars instead of pennies.

    More money for the same work.

        Agree - nothing wrong with putting Adsense on a site, but I like to design my sites much more strategically...

        1. Develop content pages around keywords and opportunities/challenges you want to test within that marketplace. What you will quickly notice once you start driving traffic to a multi-page site is navigation tendancies which can tell you what topics people are more interested in

        2. Quickly develop an attractive giveaway offer and get them signed up to a list where you can drip on them with solid content, observations and offers to further validate your market

        3. Continue to develop more content each day - leverage your own experiences, attach a blog, link to related YouTube videos with your own comments, etc...that will get you more pages, more traffic, more reputation and eventually, more profits

        In short - my sites are all launched to "test" aspects of a market - sure you can monetize them along the way with Adsense, but you can also kill two birds with one stone.

        It really has to due with supply and demand of your website, your ranking and how many backlinks you have that are solid.
        The more traffic you have, the more money you make.
        It's all supply and demand and traffic numbers.

          Sometimes when I am going to try a new product, I wil put adsense on that site and see if there is some interest in that topic. It takes a while, but it has worked ut pretty well for me. To make ten dollars you are going to need a pretty good sized site in a fairly popular area. Absolutely doable.

      The topics I am thinking of are professionals (ie. lawyers, doctors etc.). I have not found any affiliate products in this category. Do you know where I might search for such products?

    Hi,

    Adsense is a good way to get started and learn about IM. Then you can keep experimenting with other revenue models and expand your operations.

    Regardless of what you do after, if you can make AdSense successful, then you can for sure make other revenue generating ideas work even better.

    I work with adsense out of pure loyalty... I get 70% of my traffic from Google. I pay them back with Adsense running on my site.

      Amy Bass has a WSO running right now that teaches you how to NicheBlog to make AdSense money. It's a great program for newbies, since she walks you through EVERY step. Her goal is $5 a day, but you could easily do more with it.
