EZA publishing - Their taking the p#ss right?!

So I've just started publishing some EZA articles, something I've never done before.

I have submitted articles with the allowed two links, but EZA are expecting me to put five, FIVE links on my site for every article I publish.

E.G. Quick And Fast Acne Treatments - Will It Solve Your Acne Problems?

Surely that's too many for them to expect?

If you're not happy with their TOS, stop using
them. There are many other sources of articles.
The quality is just as high most often, but with
    fewer restrictions.

I have over 650 articles published with EZA and never heard of them requiring a number of links. I was under the impression that you cannot have more than 2.

You have totally confused me. I think you are saying two different things.

If you are writing and "submitting" articles with your two links, that does not create any obligation for you to put links on your site.

If you are publishing articles you are pulling from EzineArticles, that is an entirely different story.

So which one are you doing? Or is it both, and you feel it is unfair since you can only include 2 links, while they can demand more?

My recommendation, use your own content for your own sites, or buy your content so you own it. Submit articles to EzineArticles to link back to your original unique content on your sites.

Note that in order to access the EZA forum you have to apply and give them a reason why you want to joined. I applied 3 weeks ago and am still waiting.

I think the OP is saying he wants to take articles from the EZA site and use them on his own site, but he is required to leave the resource box links in plus some additional links to EZA itself.

That's how I read it. I think there's some confusion.

According to the TOS, you are required to leave live links within the article, including the resource box, and to include the link back to EZA as the source.

That's up to two links in the article, plus the attribution, for a total of three.

If you choose to use the copy/paste code provided for the convenience of publishers, they do indeed insert a couple of extra links (to the author's page under the title and at the end of the article). The extra links are not required, as I understand it.

I didn't mean my post to be a bitch at EZA but considering my title I guess it was.

I have no problem with the resource links and the one back to EZA, it was the extra two that seemed a bit excessive but I didn't realise they weren't required.

        Thanks,
        Chris

NPC = niche profit classroom, which is a membership site instructing how to set up niche based silent sales machines.

The site layout is suggested by them, the HTML/CSS I do myself, the graphics I outsource, the book picture is the picture used on the clickbank sales page I'm promoting.

As the others said it looks you are talking about putting articles from EZA on your site? How does eza even know how many links you have on your site? Did they check your site and then emailed you you need to increase the links? Sounds odd to me.

    2 links from article author
2 links pointing to author page (one at top, one at bottom)
1 link pointing to original article

What's so bad about that? In return you get free content for your site. You don't like it, then write your own content.

You can use content from Website-Articles.net. There are plenty of acne and skin care articles and all you need to do is leave the author's links intact.

    Acne Scars Articles
    Skin Care Articles

They are all top quality - No crappy articles - and the publisher terms are easy to understand and straighforward. Website-Articles.net Publisher Terms of Use

More complaints about EZA, it must be a Monday. As others have said, it's not worth it getting worked up if you don't like how they function-move on to Go Articles, ArticleBase or the hundreds of other directories. Heck, start making videos and be done with articles entirely!

As IMers we've so many choices for how to market ourselves and our products it really isn't worth getting upset over 1 source for 1 type of backlink.

You did a great job with the site. All of the positive help was useful. Sometimes EZA sucks. Sometimes they don't. Everyone has a right the complain. Heck, even those complaining about your complaining are complaining. They are just complaining about your complaint, not EZA. And yes, nofollow the links.

Funny thing speaking of EZA. Got a pretty unhappy commenter this morning in regard to a New York wine review that I posted.

I guess you never know whom is watching your EZA articles!
