Do I really need aMember?

Honestly, I kinda of confused about what aMember is really needed for so I could sure use some clarification.

It said it is a software for building membership, but what does not mean specifically?

1. Can you create a new membership website with it, or it doesn't create website but only add a membership option to an existing website?

2. If I run a continuity subscription on Clickbank, do I still need to use aMember?

3. If I run a forum, do I need aMember to maintain it?

Yes, I confess I am completely clueless with aMember.

So what exactly is it supposed to be used for? An example would be nice.

    Why not visiting their website?

    It's just a membership and affiliate management software.

    As for your question and example, I think they have a demo on their site.

      To answer your question about running a forum...you don't need Amember to do this. Vbulletin or PHPBB can do this fine without any membership site script.
