Dear all

I am relatively new to internet marketing and am struggling to get traffic to my blogs- any tips? I regularly update twitter and facebook, and post some things on forums?

Many thanks

sorry forgot to add you may be better in specialising in one area then you will be able to get tons of traffic easy. I personally just use article for backlinks as i would rather have a site that is seo`ed.

Submitting to blog directories and pinging everytime you update your blog articles are also a good way of getting free traffic, what is your blog related to?

I am a newbie like yourself. One of things I am doing now is goint to traffic exchanges where you post your website and on them and you get traffic in return. I just signed up with traffic swarm and a few others. Good luck.

    Charlotte,

I recommend using article marketing -

I know it isn't a highly popular form of traffic generation, but the traffic converts really well...

I suggest starting by writing a few articles, and submitting them to ezinearticles.com...

Keep trying. Be consistent. Experiment. You'll get it. It will take longer than you would like. But you will get there if you are consistent.

I would write articles except that even though I'm a great writer, I would get tired of it on day 5 so I recommend paying someone to write articles for you on a consistent basis.

Have you tried to put comments on other people's blogs?
    Or to contact other bloggers...

Use social media, bookmarking and voting websites (like Reddit, YouTube, Digg)...

    Or just pay (buy) advertising.

This thread is better off in the Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum

Also, try and use anchor text when getting backlinks to your sites. I notice your sig. is all in URL when you could use anchor text here.

I have been in Internet Marketing for a year, and I found Article Marketing is very helpful and giving a quality 1 way backlink to your site. Be patient and consistent, that's the key.
