Anyone Else Experiencing Aweber Broadcast Delays

Hey All,

Is anyone else experiencing more excessive than usual Aweber broadcasting delays today?

I queued a message in one account I am managing for someone else
and an hour and a half has passed already without it going out.

I also just queued one for my own list and it has yet to go out after
about 15 minutes.

Of course, I got the usual cookie cutter response from live support
saying they are experiencing delays, but no concrete reason why.

Just wondering if anyone else here in this forum is waiting a while
for their message to go out as well.

Thanks,
Jason

I see it every week. At least once a week. Nothing new really. It can be frustrating if you're trying to time something pretty tightly, but otherwise I try to put it out of my mind and move on to the next thing to do on that day's list. What else can you do? It's out of your control, ultimately.

I wonder how many emails they send out day in - day out? I bet it is HUUUGE!

You are absolutely right when you say it's out of my control.

It's just frustrating when most days you hit send and it goes out in
minutes, but then other days it takes as long as it is today.

      Hey Jason,

Aweber is very frustrating at times. Actually, I left Aweber about a year ago. I still have my account open but I do not use it. I think it's actually in a "holding" status that I pay like five bucks a month for.

But anyway, my point is... I finally got so frustrated with the runaround that I decided to leave them for another service. Now, the service I'm using is not quite as feature rich, but their service and customer support is so much better that it makes it worth it. Plus, I use a service that allows me to track and test my open rates and things of that nature.

      Talk soon,

      Shannon Herod

Yeah, I am following suit Shannon.

4 hours gone by now and message is still not out.

Mine that I queued after this went out, but not the other one.

Support attributed it to larger mail volume than usual, but I believe
they are experiencing some mail server related issues.

They won't admit to it via online chat, which I guess is understandable
so people don't come in forums like this to tell everyone. (LOL - How ironic
        that I even said that)

I trust they will sort "whatever" it is that is going on.
