Hi all...

I'm setting up my first blog / website and one of the ways I'm trying to drive traffic is via video marketing which I believe to be very effective.

I am trying the free version on Camtasia which seems easy to use, but whilst searching the web have come across something called Video Article Robot whihc turns articles into video.

My question is has anybody used this and if so is it worth the money.

Thanks,

It would be interesting to see someone do a split-test between a video article voiced by a human and one voiced by a robot. My hunch is that a real person -- even someone who's not a "professional speaker" -- would beat the pants off a robot. (Assuming the robot was wearing pants.)

I can't imagine a situation where I'd use computer-generated speech for general-purpose traffic generation. To me it seems junky.

I agree completely Jay. I've seen a few studies where click through rate is increased simply by having the picture of a real live human instead of just text.

Additionally, personally I doubt I listen to any robot talking....unless it's in a Hollywood quality move that is.

      Thanks Guys,

I would tend to agree....I guess this is a "quick fix".
Guess at the moment I'll create my own videos in Camtasia...

      Any other opinions welcome
