Which books do you recommend?

Hi Warriors,

As my business has been growing so has my appetite to read more books, I already have a fast growing collection slowly piling up.. (to many to name) but would like to know what other books other members of the WF would recommend as a IM'er.

Some of my fave books Inc The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini, The Da Vinci Method by Garrett Lo Porto, The Ultimate Sales Letter - Dan Kennedy..

I'm interested in most areas, copy writing, Psychology, Business and productivity, motivation .. but thinking i could probably do with reading a little more into productivity, so if anybody knows any good books i can swipe from amazon please let me know.

Thanks

Dan

Tim Ferris was mentioned above - I'll second the 4 hour work week.

I'm also a huge fan of anything by Seth Godin (read everything) and Malcolm Gladwell.

Kennedy's copywriting stuff is great, but the most referenced copywriting book in my office is Joe Sugarman's AdWeek copywriting handbook.

I think it might be out of print, but its worth searching for.

    Only 2 books..

4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris and Work The System by Sam Carpenter.

These 2 books changed my life. I went from working 10 hours a day to 7 hours max a week (and running my business from a laptop while I travel the world).

    Can't recommend them enough.

One of the best productivity books I've ever read is Amazon.com: No B.S. Time Management for...Amazon.com: No B.S. Time Management for... Entrepreneurs by Dan Kennedy.

I also recommend Work the System by Sam Carpenter, as Joe recommended above. I know Sam is about to release the 3rd edition so you may want to wait a month or so, but in the meantime you can download the first 3 chapters free for joining his list at Work the System.

EDIT: I just happened to see that the OP was from 2009, so it'll be interesting to see if Dan even sees this or has read these books.

If you're into something in a magazine format, Success Magazine is great, in my opinion. Especially for "mindset" stuff...
