What Is The Best Way To Drive FREE Traffic To Your Website?
interested to get FREE traffic because I don't need to spend a dime.
Over the years, i have some success with FREE traffic using ezinearticles,
wordpress, squidoo, hubpage, blogger. As i do it more and more, i realize
it's not the tool that matters when you are generating the traffic it's the.....
CONTENT!
yeah you may say it's obvious but there are so many marketers
struggle to write "good" content to get traffic and get sales...
I struggled with this too.... until i found something it works...
I followed the trend from newspaper, magazines, what my friends talked about....
Of course, not all of them makes me money, but i happened to stumble a niche
from these sources and gives me a cool thousand dollar in a day!
I don't mean to brat but if there's money to be made, I should share it right?
How does it actually works?
Here's the step by step approach:
1. Identify the trend.
Checkout your newspaper, magazines, your friends
and look out for hot topics... e.g the hot topic now is Tiger Woods the no.1 golfer
with his mistress and sex addiction etc.... Top Christmas gifts for 2009, new year
resolutions for 2010
2. Blog about it.
As simple as it sounds, blog about it using the topic as the headline
and keywords.... I'm not saying this will give you a thousand dollars overnight...
but you should just get your butt down and start writing something.... Write like a
reporter....
3. Link it to a product
Now if after doing point no. 2, you are getting some traffic, you may
make a cent or two if you just put google adsense... but if you can link
it to a product, that's where you will hit jackpot....
for the tiger woods example, the target audience could be his fans and if you just
"sprinkled" some golf products links around your blog, you may be able to get some sales.
This has worked for me over the years.
Anyone of you have tried this and want to share your experiences?
