Cold calling especially?
Normally when I call small businesses I:
1. work to get past the gate keeper
2. ask for an owners e-mail if they "are not available"
3. if i get to speak with owner - I tell them what I could do for them (not what services i offer)
4. then try to get a meeting
So get prospecting everyone, get calling, and stuff that bank account!
BTW - I love my job
