I found from that from the first dollar onwards it got easier and easier.

I just bought a WSO, and when I went to pay for it from my Paypal account, there was $14 sitting there.

It came from a sale from a website I'd completely forgotten I had!

Hey Thats great news well done! i am a new newbie to all this i have been going for about two weeks now but i am having trouble getting traffic to the site? I have blogged about it on my Face book page to around 200 Friends and opened a Twitter page of which i have a massive following of 2!
I have a squeeze page set up and i am trying to build a mailing list but not getting a whole Lotta traffic?
Any suggestions?
the site has been up for 4 days now and i only had 43 unique visitors but no on has opted in yet???

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hey Ben... Welcome.

43 visitors in 4 days isn't too bad. I have started a few sites that were lucky to get that in a month... but, I'm lazy and I tend to procrastinate in promoting sites (I do get around to it eventually, though).

If you haven't done so already, look into both Article Marketing and Video Marketing. Article marketing is a proven strategy for getting quality traffic (and sometimes direct sales). Video Marketing is the new kid on the block and can turbo charge your efforts... very powerful.

If you don't want to go that route, don't underestimate the power of commenting on other people's blogs. You don't even have to include a blatant link to your site. The form you fill out to leave a comment (including your website) is enough to give you some good traffic if your comment is good enough.

Depending on your product, yahoo answers is a great traffic generator too. Just make sure your account is well-established before you start posting links to your website. Spending a week or two answering 5 or so questions per day is usually enough.
