The first thing I would look at is the source of your traffic. Also, what is your idea of good stats? Some people think a steady 5 visitors a day is good, others would say 100 visitors a day is good.

Are you sure there is enough traffic to your site?

Even if they are, are your site visitors the right people, I mean those that are in need of the service you render there.

I am averaging between 100 and 300 per month but get no enquiries. I am contemplating placing a shopping area on the site just for my own products.
Usually I am getting about 40 unique visitors coming per month.

That is in no way enough traffic to get any type of reliable information.

You might also try using a service like Clicktale to see how your visitors are spending their time on your site.

have you done research in your niche? What are people searching for? What keywords are they using? 40 clicks is very low (better than nothing!)

I'm not the most experienced marketer here, but I do do my homework when I have new website so know who I'm targeting.

My advice would be to add an email capture somewhere on the site and offer a free ebook about hair loss for signing up.

It takes several exposures for someone to bite. Even if someone finds the perfect solution to their problem at the perfect price, it can still take a couple of exposures before they feel comfortable giving you their money or contacting you. Having an email list allows you to drip on people and keeps you in the forefront of their mind. If I find your website on my lunch break at work, I've probably already forgotten about it by the time I get home, unless I'm getting quality content emails from you which force me to think about your site.

I think your site has a good base to work with, but to be truthfully honest your site does not stand out visually. You have solid info, but its all pushed back to secondary pages, if people dont see some eye catching say client feetback, discount on services/products on the home page people will leave. So yes you might get traffic to your home page but are people really staying there. I say relook at your home page, make it more eye catching to your customer base. You understand them better then I, so i bet you know what to add. good luck

Most visitors are heading to my causes for hairloss page and viewing my philosophy page. I would just like to get some enquiries let alone sales

Jeez. 40 per month? That's just about as many as 0. You need about 1,000+ at least from targeted sources to know if your site is even converting at all. But what I can say is that you should make it more direct response. It's not direct response enough.

I had to look around a while to find the number, and there was no reason to call... Some people might not know what to do, so you have to tell them, specifically what to do and how they can benefit from doing what you want them to do.

Why are you the best alternative over your competitiors? Service, integrity, happy clients etc. (Notice I didn't mention price, instead build up enough value to make them pick you)

Then you just need a ton more traffic and you'll get enquiries.

    - Chris

I thank you all so much and please keep the advice coming it is invaluable to me.
Over the next few evening I will make the changes that you have suggested here and will attempt to link in a free e-book deal for capturing email addresses. My web guy is so slow at doing anything he is in line for a % of web sales and seems as motivated as a brick.
