What should I do to change company? How do I change to a different host? I simply followed her instructions and she never explain what cpanel was all about or why we need to pay $35 a month for hosting! She just said 'this is what to do.' Also, why (apart from her commission) did she suggest such an expensive host and what's the point? Thanks, Steven |

Yikes! 35 bucks a month for a simple hosting plan! Hostgator will sell you a Resellers plan for 10 dollars less than that, and as Technista said they have individual plans for less than 8 dollars. Your "coach" obviously had her own interests in mind when she pushed that package on you - I'd be curious as to what other advice she gave you that may not have been in your best interest. Is HTTPME also your domain registrar, or do you have that done somewhere else? To move your site you'll just need to have your registrar point your domain to the new hosts nameservers. With most registrars (i.e. GoDaddy, Namecheap) you can do this yourself with their control panel. Anyway, my advice would be to run away from HTTPME as quick as you can and get another host. And while you're at it you might consider running away from your "coach" - anyone who recommends an expensive host without giving you a reason why probably is in it more for the commission than she is to help you. If you need another coach you can probably enlist the services of some of the fine Warriors here who provide such services. Bill |

Hi Steven, Others here have given you good advice. I was with HTTPME some time ago and their level of customer service was abysmal. All The Very Best, Tony |
