Will you go for SEO Hosting? Is it worth it?

I started a project last year which enables people to host their websites across multiple cPanel nodes all over the world.

These cPanel nodes are hosted by various hosting companies participating in the project. I did not complete the project due to other things that comes up.

My question is, if you know there is a service which enables you to spread your websites across multiple locations around the world, would you go for it?

It's not a typical "seo hosting" scheme, you will actually be able to choose which city and country your website will be hosted on. And there will be hundreds to choose from, not just 10 or 20.

Each node is owned by different web hosting companies, so you can have one site in London, one in Singapore, one in Japan, one in Canada, one in Huston, one in Chicago. Something like that.

Each node will have it's own name servers, since they are owned by their own respective company. So you will be pointing each of your hosted domains to different name servers.

I would think the market for this type of setup is internet marketers, so there is no better place to gather data than the Warrior Forum.

Would you consider such service? Please cast your vote on the poll.

If enough people say it would be yes, I will complete the project and make it ready for service by Jan, 2010.

Thanks guys.

Because I deal with older established sites, I don't see a need for it. One thing to consider is the quality of clients that are attracted to IP addresses that are hosted on "seo hosts".

I saw the website for your project a few months back - thought it was a really good idea.

I definitely see the need - it would be nice to be able to create a huge network of sites spread out all over the US/other countries for the ultimate untraceable link building structure.

I would use it for sure.

Thanks for the feedback Daniel. It will certainly be untraceable because you literally host your websites across different networks just like buying a hundred hosting accounts, but with a fraction of a cost.

The network will provide a "pool of nodes" which customers can choose from, these nodes represents many web hosts which are not related to one another.

That's the idea. Another approach is to do CDN (content distribution/delivery network), so that people can use the nodes to distribute their content to visitors that are closer to a certain nodes.

This can be done as well, I just need to do an extra deep coding to establish the auto balancing.

Not at all a bad idea - provided it works like it should of course. I'd be interested in taking a good look at it.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I will surely open a WSO for 7 day trial, completely free. Anyone who is interested, how many IPs would you generally use?

    5, 10, 20, 50, 100, more than 100?

    Thanks.
