Hey i am writing launch emails for my affiliates.

I use aweber so in aweber i use codes like {!name}, to put my customers name,

do other autoresponder providers use the same codes? so i can use this one for all my affiliates???

Nope, they vary. Get Response, for example, is formatted like this:

    [[firstname]]

    Latersville...

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

    They all vary,

Best way to do it is to just highlight the {name!} and make a note that your affiliates will have to change this, the same when they sign out with their personal name also

You just put what's in yours, and your affiliates will probably know what they need to change, but be sure to tell them that too..write it down: "if you're not using aweber replace {!name} with your autoresponder personalizator"..

It's allways the best way to write and explain everything, to make it easier for your affiliates..

TrafficWave.net uses tokens but with a different format.

Additionally, you have the option to make your letters available to your affiliates that are also using TrafficWave.net. Their profile information (name, email, links, etc...) can be set up to automatically be merged in to the letter when they retrieve your letters in to their own campaign.
