Read the TOS (Terms of Service) to be sure. For example, the EBay Partner Network recently changed their TOS stating that they no longer allow EPN publishers to use these.

Yes you can because these sites are better than having own websites. You can purchase domain and integrate website on these blog sites like word press and blogger.

I think more people start from free sites and them move to there own.

ofcourse it's possible..at the start, stick to free web 2.0 properties like blogger.com wordpress.com etc.

Try to improve your copywriting skills, and learn some SEO with it.. after a few weeks monetize those properties with affiliate products, so you can earn some money while you learning..

once you start growing and want to add toys to them... well you will hit the wall and have to move to self hosted sites.

How much money you can do in niche affiliate marketing from free resources without structure? It will depend on your keyword research abilities and how fast you are to spot and jump in trends. For clickbank products... if you make $500 a month per niche you are VERY lucky.
