You sent a broadcast email to your list and mentioned it was late because you'd been ill and got over 400 responses wishing you a speedy recover or similar?

    Michael,

I know it would time consuming BUT if you had their snail mail address send them a hand written note telling them how much you appreciate their words of encouragement.

Aside from this, you could also put up a page with the same words or email them all back thanking them. OR, have some sort of giveaway for your subscribers as a "I'm back, alive an well!"

On a personal note Michael I'm glad to hear you're alive and kickin'!

Had a similar email from another marketer a couple of days ago, i always wish people well and i sent him an email stating that he should take his time to get back to 100% before coming back to us. I wouldnt wait for a reply of any sort but he did email back saying a personal thank you for the best wishes.

Its all that was needed, in my opinion.

      All the best

... and at the same time, thank them personally for their concern.

If you can know each of them personally, that will be much better.
