|  Guru Sales Tricks I'm Really Tired Of Seeing
I'm sick of the emails that say, "Here's proof my system works", and all you see is a video sales letter of the guru showing you his/her adsense screen shot. To me that's not proof! Show me where your site ranks for a given keyword, how many back links you have and where they came from and then you will have credibility. I'm also sick of the trick where they promise to show you some awesome traffic secrets once you become a member of their site $50 a month site. Seems like it takes about 3 or 4 months before you get to see any "real secrets". Just my little rant for today. Jim |

I've gotta agree with this...although it's not so much Gurus doing it as a lot of wannabees. What really craks me up is visiting a site selling SEO services and seeing they don't rank, have no PR, etc. but promise to get you on page one, hehehehe. |

Jim, this is a good point there are lot of people out there using tricks to make money. But I think that if I show you my earnings it is a great proof because I can have lot of backlinks, great ranks, lot of traffic but if I am not able to monetize all this then it is like nothing. Ya that gets annoying for a lot of us who've been around the block a few times but like they say... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You'd be surprised if you just follow the simplicity of a lot of these campaigns you can make a good profit. Just do it better and don't be annoying and people will like you better.

Show me the money and... what john said.  Many times when webmasters are throwing around impressive stats RE: PR, position on google etc. the money issue is skirted. I have a site that has been on the top of google for months and I haven't made a dime from it that I know of.
