Limiting Though Patter: Looking For Why Things Won't Work. Help!

Hey!

Just the other day I caught myself putting down and opportunity that I had to make some great money with my business...

An opportunity came up and I immediately (subconsciously) started thinking about reasons why it wouldn't work or would be hard to implement.

This made me curious so I went back and looked at my financial records from the past 2 years (I track every dollar I spend and make). The fact is that I haven't made any more than $2000 except for in 3 months of the last two years!

This blew me away and it now all makes sense...

I am not making the kind of money that I want because I on why every opportunity won't work. This negative approach then stops me from taking action.

For example, I did a launch 2 months ago with my business and made $6000+ in a few days. I could have easily done it again last month with all of the new subscribers I got but subconsciously I talked myself out of it...

" They don't want to hear about my products again. Its too soon...", "I'll have to edit the email sequence and that takes a lot of work", "It may not do as well as last time", "I will have a lot of customer service to deal with again"...

With thoughts like this is NO WONDER that I am struggling with my revenues and income.

So here is my question:

- How can I change this thought pattern so that I am consistently get excited about and looking at the positive in each opportunity?

Your help is appreciated.

~Sean

You have already taken the first step by realizing that you have a pattern. The next step is to begin to retrain the way you are thinking. Every time you catch yourself on a negative thought cycle, break that cycle. Either think about the positives or just say to yourself that you refuse to feel that way. You want to find what works for you. But it's about seeing the bad thought pattern and actively working to fix it.

      Thanks for the reply!

Its sounds like what you are saying is:

      1) Awareness so I can catch myself thiking this way

      2) Break the pattern

      Thanks!

Have you tried EFT? This video has helped me quite a bit with the very thing you are struggling with:
