How Do I Process a Clickbank Refund Request?

Hi

I am ashamed to ask this, but I have searched the CB site
and spend 40 minutes (on my dime) in queue on the phone
waiting for my call to be answered.

How do I do I do a refund for a Clickbank customer?

Can you tell me where to click to do that myself
or do I need to open a ticket?

Thanks to all who reply.

Clickbank should have sent you an email with the purchase info
for your product. In that email is a link for you to 'manage' the
purchase one of which is to issue a refund.

So check the email you got from Clickbank for the link.

      Thanks Ray,

I got all that, but the link took me to what seems to be a "buyer" support ticket.
Do I just fill that out on behalf of the buyer?

Yes you can do this for the buyer. Nothing will happen immediately but usually 1 to 24 hours later it will be processed.

    Clickbank's new process is SIMPLE.

Login and click on the "T" beside this buyer's name (the logo for Ticket).
Create a ticket for a refund request.
Since YOU (the vendor) initiated it, it's automatically processed in 5 minutes.

Or ... just email refunds@clickbank.com (something like that?) and put in the receipt numbers. Same thing happens. I always just login now for the rare return request. It's easy enough. Takes a minute.

A buyer request will be actioned in 24 hours (to allow the
vendor to save the sale), a vendor request in 5 minutes.

Note that this method will soon be withdrawn.
Your 'click on the "T" method' is the best way.

        Thanks all.

I decided to do as advised and went right to the escalation
and soon got the confirmation that the purchase was refunded.
I had no desire to fight with the two person in 50 or so that
wanted a refund that day. Some will. That's life. I believe that
people who want a refund should not be caused delay.

I wish Clickbank would make it easier to do things though.

I had trouble figuring out where to LOG IN to list a product
for goodness sake! At least they now have a LOG IN link
        on THE MAIN PAGE. lol
