Hey sorry to bother you, but I just read a post on the "dirty way" to get your articles published (I tried to post a link but it wouldn't let me, the title of the thread is "How can you make £10,000 a month with article marketing" and the post is by a user called Jeremy Kelsall. Being entirely new to this I was encouraged when it said you didn't need much experience. I have a few questions that are probably so ignorant you want to punch me in the face:

1) HOW do you write an article? Is there a specific site you can do this on? How is it published?
I believe I understand that it will help if the content is full of keywords that it's more likely to be found. Right??

2) Is the money here made using affiliate marketing? I can do this with Amazon, Clickbank and I have Google Adsense also.
Is the basic idea to write a basic article on (taking the example from the post) man boobs and then pack it full of related advertisements, links etc. from affiliates?
I'd assume that if you're writing a large number of these that they're not all going to be linked to ebooks you've written etc?

3) Do you have an example? Is there an article that falls into this category that I can look into?

I'm sorry about all the questions and I appreciate any response from anyone. I'm a uni student struggling for money, I obviously don't need $10,000 a month but if I could make $500 or so I'd be REALLY happy. Is this still asking too much?

Thankyou A LOT for any response guys! I know you must get this a lot from annoying newbies and I am really ashamed to fall into that catagory

I am guessing you are using Ezine?

If so, I wouldn't waste your time, there are a bunch of gremlin editors behind the scenes there who simply deny all attempts to actually publish stuff and if you write your own material they still deny it and make out it is not original.

And that is upto a week after you wrote it, for me it is nothing but a major timewaster.

Anyways, this guy could help you out if you follow his tips probably.

    Try squidoo for the publishing

Go to ezinearticles.com and sign up for an account. Their help and autoresponder emails will go a long way in teaching you how that works.

Not exactly. EZA tightly restricts where and how you can link from your article.

    3) Do you have an example? Is there an article that falls into this category that I can look into?
Again, go to ezinearticles.com and browse through some of the top articles there.

We have all been newbies, and will be again. No matter how many years you've been doing something, you're going to want to do something else eventually, and you'll find yourself a newbie.

Don't use the "dirty tricks"....believe me, ezine is WAY too profitable to risk your account with what Jeremy might have written in the WSO.

You can get thousands of views and #1 Google position with good researched keywords alone and with a sound and solid strategy.

If you use "dirty" methods - do it at your own risk tho.

    2) Is the money here made using affiliate marketing? I can do this with Amazon, Clickbank and I have Google Adsense also.
Yes, i am making a few grand each month on EZA alone and clickbank. Key is having a bunch of writers and CONSISTENCY...and of course the ability to provide VALUE to the reader.

Agreed, there is no reason to use dirty tricks. Ezine is still working out great for me - so far anyway.

If you are new, you'll want to get your platinum account first. Make it a priority and give them 10 of your best articles (go heavier than normal on the word count - 400+). No spelling or grammar mistakes, and link to something worthwhile in your resource box (your blog for example). Double check your links. Make sure the article body follows through on the promises made in the headline.

Check their tos for subjects that are not acceptable. If in doubt, write about something safe. Most Clickbank niches are okay.

When they ask you why you should be upgraded, tell them that you are an experienced writer who intends to submit quality articles similar to the 10 already submitted. Point out that all 10 were approved with no rejections.

If any are refused for any reason, you will wind up at basic plus and then the threshold is 25 to be considered again.

Everything you do should be done like you know your going to be the next Google, Yahoo, Etc.. If you do everything in a professional way, you won't regret past decisions and if your site does become an authority site you won't have to worry in the long run. Ezine is very profitable. Do it the right way the first time and you will be happy. Find ways to get profitable and valuable backlinks. There isn't any use building a business that will get knocked off the rankings when someone finds out how you got it there.

Make your business plan long-term. Think of how long your degree is taking to achieve. This business isn't much different.

Hey don't worry we were all newbies at one time, great questions. There is a process to writing and submitting articles.

But before I get into the basics, forget any dirty or black hat BS, all it will do is bite you in the ass.

    1) All of your article MUST be information based only, no hint of a sales pitch what so ever. Simply provide great content that will help people.

Tip: When writing you want your article to be useful but incomplete. Meaning; if you write an article about auto responders your article can cover all the advantages of having an auto responder and what are the best features to look for in a auto responder company, but you never mention any auto responder companies within your article.

For writing your article you can use Word and cut and paste your article into the directory, or you can simply write your article within the directory itself.

    2) Many if not most Article Directories (this is one place you will submit your articles) will only allow link(s) in your Authors/Resource Box.

Tip: Towards the end of your article you want to transition your article so people will naturally want to get more information and click on your link. Using the example of an auto responder article, within your Authors/Resource Box you would have your link to a auto responder company your affiliated with.

    3) Some of the better Article Directories are:

    ezinearticles.com
    goartilces.com
    isnare.com
    ideamarketers.com

You can sign up for free at any or all of these directories, plus you can review articles there as well.

Another great place to submit articles is directly to ezines themselves, the advantage to this is your article is not lost in a sea of articles. A great resource for finding ezines is at Directory of Ezines

    4) For ideas for writing your article, first check out the directories and see what the hot topics are. Go to Digg.com and see whats going on.

You can also go to Stuff To Tweet The Hippest Tweets on the Web and it will give you the top tweets from 13 different resources, kind of like one stop shopping.

    5) As for writing, just write. Nothing perfects writing like writing. There are a ton of books on writing and I have read most of them and sure they go through all the theory but in my experience of writing for over 10 years and talking to other writers simply be yourself and write like you are writing to a friend.

It will take time to get comfortable with writing and finding yourself but it will come, if you have a blog that's a great way to get your writing chops.

    6) Making money, yes you can make money but like anything it takes time.

    Hope that helps
