A newbie question?

Starting out equipped with little to useful information, how much am i supposed to expect making when i suppose am using tools that are based on no fee !!!

I'll be applying bum marketing method, my sights are set on a handsome product though would love some views on it considering the money.. I may even lay down my steps maybe..

    Welcome to the forum.

    That depends more on what you’re selling then the types of traffic techniques you employ. As a for instance I have made over seven figures with various sites only using bum marketing.

      Just starting out Brad. It would be nice to see the way that makes you money. As a newbie i don't want to disclose your style of doing it but an idea would certainly be in the best of my interest. Thanks mate.

    There have been guys here who say they've pulled down $2K a month bum marketing for 2 hours per day. That said... it would've taken some failures to get those kinda results (ie. how to write 10 articles in 2 hours, the best converting products and the right keywords to target).

    It's really tough to say, I'd just work on putting a repeatable system in place and getting your first scale. Looking back at what worked best and then repeating it.

    I bum marketed for a while and of the tens of articles I'd written, 2 of those generated about 90% of the sales. There's no way to learn this, you kinda gotta do it, refine and repeat it.

    Good luck mate! And as soon as you have sale, get a domain, get hosting and start building a list (if it's an appropriate niche).

    In my experience, the people who fail at bum marketing are the same people who measure their hours against earnings too early in the game.

    The little things you do today will carry forward for you, sometimes for years. So if you work hard for 30 days and you don't see a result that doesn't mean you should give up.

      I concur. Just get out there and do it, you will learn so much from your own mistakes. Don't measure yourself up against a IM whiz right off the bat. You wouldn't do that in other careers.

      hey Brad, i was just trying to check your views on, cause nobody seems to be telling the facts straight out. Bum marketing surely works and needs little work alongside but saying it would take a month not my way.

      For me what i'll do is get a site on with the right product in hand use some book marking and back linking strategies and get it indexed in a minimum amount of time and that may well speak out so here i say i'll be posting my results if i succeed in it.

      I'll try using Squidoo the fast fighter but what turns me down regarding squidoo's popularity is it's not used the proper way. Or maybe who bend towards it aren't good enough to bring their sites show up early in the search engines.

      I bet somebody would have noticed it ....

        I think it's safe to say we all might have a different idea about what results mean.

        In my experience most newbies will need time to see results with a brand-new site and no or little experience.

          I concur with Brad,

          The fact is it takes time. oh sure you can read or hear how someone made 20 mill in a day or 2 days but they have spent years formulating and executing their plan trying and retrying different steps and networking with others building relationships promoting their things as well as having them promote ..
          i am relatively new about 7 ,8 months old and even though i have learned an awful lot i still am testing and trying i go through different sales copy some with video some with my picture some with plain text etc until you know exactly what works and then perfect it you will never achieve success. now i have had the barrier broken and have made sales online thank God but if i was to tell you i made hundreds or even thousands of sales i would be a liar and there would be not truth in me the reality is it takes time it takes effort and sometimes it even takes joining the war room.lol.

          If your going to do anything you have got to do it 110% or not at all but Brad gave you some solid advice and he knows an awful lot concerning business online your method you just mentioned will fail without a solid plan and time tested strategy squidoo can make you more sales and send you tons more traffic than google if you know how to use it . i will remember you now and next time i see you asking for help i will disregard because you seem to have it all figured out and one thing is for sure if your not teachable you WILL FAIL just as 90 something percent of onliners do i appreciate that people take time out of their day to help and why should they anyhow they don't owe me or anyone anything it is because many of us have an attitude we are all in it together and offer some very very sound advice.

          I am dumbfounded by your statements why ask for help to begin with if you have it figured out?

    These guys are giving some good advice. Nothing that's worth doing is going to be easy, and it's probably not going to be quick. If you're in a position where you HAVE to start making money now, there are ways, but you're not going to be leveraging your time and abilities and thus you're not going to get rich. Learning the skills though will get you there eventually.

    Donald, I haven't hit big time like many of the people around here have, but I can tell you that I am finally seeing success for myself by just getting out there and doing it. I spent a really, really long time researching, purchasing various IM info products and perusing the forums, hoping to finally feel like I knew it all.

    I wasted A LOT of time. If I would have just jumped in and took action two years ago, I'm confident I would be sitting pretty by now.

    So, if you don't mind taking some advice from an IM newbie (but one who has been writing for other IMers for a few years), just start doing something. Purchase a domain, start a Wordpress blog, create a Squidoo site, write some quality Ezine articles, and you will learn so much more than if you remain in research-mode.

    I've found it is significantly easier to learn the ropes through trial and error. Good luck to you!

    Well I've only really used free methods myself. I HAVE seen some cash flow, but haven't made a fortune just yet. I haven't purchased or read the bum marketing stuff, but I do believe you CAN make a fortune without spending much, it's just a tad more difficult and takes longer.
