My Very First Squidoo lens

Hello Warriors,

I created my very first Squidoo lens. I am a newbie in IM and my best attributes are cut and paste(lol). I found making this lens lot more trying than what Squidoo says (5 minutes HAH???)

Please, be so kind and critique it (please be gentle). I would love any comments for improvements.

Well, here it is My First Squidoo Lens

Thank you,

Dita

  • I didn't read it because I'm lazy it's Saturday. But I can tell you that a legitimate offer doesn't need the word Legitimate in the Headline.

Of course it's legitimate... who would write about an illegitimate review?

People have no clue who you are and you build trust by making compelling arguments not unsupported statements.

Hey! Don't sweat it, this looks way better then my first lens.

First, get rid of the legitimate part, it points out useless information. If you are saying the product is good, then you are implying it is already legitimate.

Second, PICTURES!! Add a picture for every single word module, get some funny relevant ones. Otherwise the ads will distract your readers too much.

Do these things and you will notice huge changes with conversions!

Hope this helps. Don't be afraid to ask more.

Leaving aside the usual icky MLM content...

Try adding some pictures to your modules. Many people just don't stay on a page which is acres of unrelieved text.

Try adding more modules. Use some of the visually different modules (like Black Box or Sticky Note) to pull out important points.

Consider turning off the Discovery Tool in the intro module. What that does is display other related lenses at the top right, potentially sucking away your visitors before they even read your stuff.

Try including your money link right in the intro paragraph. You may get more clickthroughs than if people have to read all the way to the bottom to find it.

Some of the language you use... "vertical acceleration"... "single leg compensation" is baffling jargon to most people. If you are after new people, try adjusting your language to them.

Ejullya - You have some good content in the lens - nice work! However like mentioned above, I would advise you to add some stunning pictures to your lens to make it more user friendly. People enjoy images, and I'm sure they would stay longer on your lens if you had a picture whic captured their attention.

But overall, this is a good piece of work. Far better than my first lens I can tell you. Wirting the content is the hardest part, so if you're good at that then naturally your lenses will be good.

Also another thing you could do is link to the lens in your forum sig, it would be additional backlinks to your lens and help the spiders index your lens quicker. Just a suggestion
