Is there a market for articles in the Learning Spanish niche?

I'm new to IM and thought I'd try writing some of my own articles about what I know. I know about learning Spanish. But should I take the time to do so? I'm not sure if people buy such articles?
Any advice or comments appreciated.

absolutely that is a niche that quite a few folks are in and should be interested in fresh unique content for the sites or distribution.

    John,

Are you just yourself learning Spanish or do you already know/read/write in Spanish? There's a huge market for translations and/or article writing in another language.

    Good luck to you!

Yes, to both questions. I am myself learning Spanish in the sense that you never stop learning and can never know everything about a language. But, I did receive my BA in Spanish Language & Linguistics, lived for extended periods of time in Spain and Mexico, and have near-native fluency.

As far as translation, I'm quite good at and enjoy translating Spanish into English, but my English to Spanish translations, though passable, are still wanting (but I'd bet the English speaker who hired me would have a hard time telling the difference ;-)

Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions.
