  Awesome article! It really does make quite a bit of sense, especially for one whose product is the content of their blog, etc. Thanks for this post, it's something I'm sure many people don't really consider.

Money Two: We bundled up the best blog posts about our software development philosophy and turned it into a PDF book called Getting Real. We sell the PDF for $19. We've made a few hundred thousand dollars from the PDF.

Not bad to be making "a few hundred thousand" from a $19 ebook. That would require serious traffic (but then again... they have +80K RSS subscribers).
