I survey my exit visitors [Results Inside] - I need suggestions please...

Hi,

Feel free to use these questions as it will help you identify the reason why visitors are leaving your salesletter. Here are my results:

  1. Price is too expensive.(24 people voted)
  2. I am not sure if this product will really help me (15 people)
  3. None of the above, I want this product but I don't have $47 to spend now (I'll buy later) (15 people)
  4. I don't have credit card so I can't buy it.(14 people)
  5. I don't understand how the product works and I got confused.(3 people)
  6. The product page has too much information to read and it's boring. (3 people)
  7. I don't really need this product - (0 people)
For number 1 I know the solution might be more bonuses and increase the product's value (or lower the price, or both)

For number 2, is what I need your help to advice me on what should I include in my salesletter (apart from testimonials because I already have MANY plus I have video testimonials)

Number 3, I can't do anything about it simply because of economy crisis

Number 5, camtasia tutorials, etc

Number 6, shorter salesletter

So my question to you is... what else should I include in my salesletter to eliminate the "I am not sure if this product will really help me" ? (i have plenty of testimonials that's why I am a bit confused and need your help.

Thanks

John

2, 5, and 6 all sound like sales letter issues. They're not sure if they product can help them, they don't understand how the product works, and product page has too much information are all kind of telling you the same thing--they don't understand the product and why they need it. I'm definitely not a copywriting expert but maybe the letter needs some more laser focus to simply get across why the product is valuable (i.e. what can it do for them that they can't get anywhere else). I totally feel for you on this issue since I've had the same problem, I have so many ideas and information I want to get across that sometimes the real message gets lost in the shuffle.

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

It does sound like 2, 5 and 6 are similar issues.

I'd work on these before I did anything with 'too expensive'... often that's simply the easy cop-out answer, and one that some may have ticked hoping for a discount (like those god-awful "wait - before you leave" scripts).

Get the clarity and benefits issues resolved, and the price objection may go away on its own.

Damn that's some good data and you can really use that to improve your overall sales pitch.

Address one issue at a time and TEST. Don't try to fix everything because not everyone had the same reasons for exiting.

By the way, which survey service did you use?

Thank you for you feedback guys.

I am using Google Docs Form and it was amazing! (no survey monkey, no question pro) -- Google Docs has ready-made templates to use and collect surveys.

I highly recommend it. Also if you'd like to see my survey in action, PM me - I can definitely help you out
