Ezine Articles Product Reviews

Does Ezine articles not allow you to write articles on product reviews anymore? I was notified that one of my links in an article I wrote several months ago that the link was broken, I went in to correct the link and resubmitted the article and they sent me an email saying "Your article does not adhere to the following Editorial Guideline, Section 2.e vi."

This article had been in their database for months without any problems.

Yes they do still allow it, but you may not hard sell products in your article body. You probably came forth too pitchy.

      Hi,

made a few reviews on ezine and had never problems with accepting. Was more a gerneral overview with no recommendation. This works pretty good.

        Different editor, perhaps?

I had some problems in the past with product reviews. And once they disapproved an article, no matter what I did to make it objective - they still thought it was too promotional.

But lately I've written a number of product reviews and they were all accepted.

I think you'll usually be ok if you make sure you are not promoting the product at all.

I have found that they no longer accept product reviews. If you do get
some accepted, it's probably because you've gotten an editor who isn't
aware of the change in rules.

EZA is really cracking down on these things. I don't know if they've actually
updated their TOS yet, but to the best of my knowledge, from what I've
          heard, product reviews are out.

Naturally, you can try to submit them and see what happens. Personally,
I have given up on them as my last few have been rejected and I've been
writing for them for quite some time now.

            Steve,

I think your right this is a direct quote from Ezine articles.

"Your article MUST be informative in nature and must not contain excessive promotion or sales copy. In order for your submission to be accepted, please ensure it does not contain reference to your name, company, or product, and is not written as sales copy promoting the products and services of others. Such material should be included only in the 'Author SIG - Resource Box.'"
