Do Ezine Articles editors have off on the weekends?

This may help everyone to get their articles live quicker...

This past Thursday I submitted 3 articles in the health category that went live in less than 24 hours.

Friday morning I submitted 3 more articles in the health category and they too went live in less than 24 hours.

Friday night and Saturday morning I submitted an additional 4 articles, once again in the health category and as of right now they are still 'pending initial review'.

Makes me wonder if the editors have the weekends off and if I should try to submit the bulk (or all) of my articles during the weekdays.

Anyone else notice this or know anything about it?

I have had articles approved on Saturdays and Sundays so I don't know
what the deal is. Most of the time, I get nothing approved on weekends.
But then there is that odd time when I'm sitting here scratching my head
    wondering what's going on.

I wonder if all of their editors is in-house?
I have a feeling that they outsource a lot of the review work to offshore countries to accommodate for time differences.

When you submit your articles, you will see a window that tells you that your article will be reviewed in X hours. If not, contact them. They also include that the time is M-F (business days).

My guess is that if they are really overloaded, that they will do some work on weekends. For the first time that I know of, I had a few articles published on a weekend, much to my surprise.

So it can happen. If article marketing is getting even more popular, maybe they are adding more editors to work weekends.

But yes, I would submit the articles all at once if you have them ready. If you have a pro account at Ezine Articles, you can schedule them to be published when you want, rather than all at the same time.

I never see the "your article will be reviewed in 'x' hours" sylvia but I won't contact them, they tend to get back to me in 10-14 days on average lol. It's no big deal, just a little observation I figured could help my fellow warriors.

It's likely they won't be approved until Monday. I think they staff less on the weekends.

Well, at least most of them do have weekends off, though some seem to have flex time and come in on weekends anyway.

But the info for the Premium account says (or used to say when I was a premium member) that the articles get reviewed from M-F until 5 pm Central time. Which means that most editors are indeed off on weekends.

They may not mention that with regular accounts because the reviewing takes longer anyway.

I have had articles approved on weekends before but it is not usually the case.
