I do not know if this is the correct place to post this but I am having a problem and the problem is I keep getting this error message for most of the software programs that I download and try to use. I got it for Incansoft software, of course Diego Hernando has fixed the problem with some adjustments at his end.

Here goes.

When I use Google Suggestor I get the following error message and I wonder if anyone can tell me what to do to overcome this.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

      I am really desperate to get an answer as most of my software reacts this way and it is very frustrating not being able to use them. Thanks

        I'm definitely not a techy. But when strange things happen persistently I usually think it is time to wipe the hard drive and reinstall your Operating System.

        It's a pain. It takes time to reinstall everything, but you usually finish up with a happy computer.

        I usually reckon that if you are on Windoze (I know - get a Mac) you need to reinstall every 12 - 18 months

            Yes, I think reinstalling my OS might have to be done. If I do it and it does not work I will shoot my self. No one seems to be knowing anything about this problem cos i have had no reply.

    Don't know much about Google suggestor.

    Can you replicate the exact steps you do to make it crash? The more you tell me, the more clues I have to figure out your problem.

    Also, give me info on your computer (OS, browser type, etc.).

      It seems to be doing it with most of my software now. Earlier I did not seem to have a problem. I had the same problem with Big Mike's software too - all the bots. Diego is still working on it.

      Anyway what I did was I just downloaded google suggestor and when I click on the icon to get it going that is the message I get. My OS is Windows XP professions version 2002 service pack 2. My default browser is Internet explorer 7. I am also using Kaspersky 2010

    You can try upgrading your OS to SP3.

    However, my patience would have already worn out. But, then again, I install Windows 10 times a week it seems (for my computer consulting clients) and it's not that big of a deal for me.

    Here is what you can do though - Download and run CCleaner - Run the registry cleaner part and the cleaner.

    Next, download MalwareBytes, run a full scan. Do same with SuperAntispyware.

    Kaspersky is the only AV I recommend, so you are set there.

    Once you run those, and clean up all the junk they find, update windows to SP3 along with all the other updates.

    *Edit* - Be sure to check out the optional updates. and update your .NET framework.

    Hope this helps, if it doesn't, backup your files and re-install.
