Delivering Large Files With Clickbank

I've got over 450 MB of files I need to make available to customers after purchase. What's the best way to go about delivering this large of a file? Clickbank is my payment processor.

    I think I would let the buyer know that they are in for a large download. I would give them probably three Zip files to download of about 150 MB each.

    I have downloaded files that are larger then 200 MB a couple of times. But nothing as large as you propose. If you break it up into smaller files, it will not be as bad, I would think.

    The only other way I can think of is to mail it on a disk, and that would not go over well for folks that expect an instant download.

    You can use Clickbank. I don't think
    they have any such file size limits.

    LOL. One of my products on ClickBank is about 2.1 GB in size!

    Just make sure you separate each file per download. DO NOT ZIP THEM UP ALL TOGETHER. (Trust me if you don't want to get emails like "I can't unzip" or "my internet is slow")

    Clickbank doesn't actually have anything to do with the download/delivery process, they only take care of the payment side of things.

    So file size isn't an issue with Clickbank.

    I'd agree with Tim, though - split them into a few manageable zip files, especially for dialup/unstable broadband users.

    It also helps keep your bandwidth levels low if someone need to redownload - they don't need to get ALL of it, just the file that "dropped out".

    Use DLGuard to protect your CB Thank you page where you post the download links. And of course, host them on you site. CB cannot support you with this issue.

    Plimus offer such a thing.... I host 1.2Gb on them. In my opinion, Plimus is better than CB, but they are poor at marketing themself.
