Creating ebooks on the Mac

Hi there.

Can anybody recommend some good tutorials on using iWork Pages to create ebooks? I know the Apple site has some videos, but they are pretty thin.

Or, if you have a Mac, what do you use to create sharp-looking ebooks?

    When I was using Mac -- I still use PC and Mac -- I used the Mac equivalent to Open Office -- the name escapes me, since my Mac has died on me and I can't boot it up.

    NeoOffice is a current option; but, I seem to remember it had another name that escapes me.

    Not sure what issues you are having with pages, I use pages the same way I used word and open office. I now only use pages for my ebooks.

    I did post something yesterday on a free program that will autosave pages every 1 minute. I got tired of having to manually save.

    Just finished an 80+ page ebook today with pages.

    I do use the iWork 09 The missing manual. Lots of helpful info in it.

    Haven't run across much in the way of videos yet.
