The Jist Of It :

This guy ran an op called AffKing. Along with other scammers around the world he spammed emails with bogus junk about penis enlargement which apparently where quality pills made in the U.S. but where made in India.

The FTC charged him 16 Million, and the kiwi and aussie authorities only fined him pathetic amounts.

Well i have said it a million times on this forum and i'll say it again. "Its not all about money, its about providing a quality product and or service, and doing it in an ethical way".

Thoughts?

    I couldn't agree more. I think IM has suffered because of spammers. I don't even count the number of spam emails I delete every day. It's a shame we all suffer because of a few greedy people who don't want to put in the work necessary to produce something of value.

    So that's the guy who somehow got my email (strange, also, as I never use this email as a member email anywhere on the internet) and sends all those fake Viagra spam emails. They never make it in the inbox, but sometimes I go and read them in the trash bin as they really provide a lot of humor.

      I just hope they come down hard, on bogus IMers too and not just email marketers. You know the types that write fake testimonals, that give advice which they arn't qualified to give, over promise and under deliver etc.

      Its time for us to be seen as professionals and not just scam artists who run mlm programs or spam internet users face book and twitter pages with crap and write how to articles which dont actually prvide a how to.

      Its about time they bring these scammers out into the open, prosecute them and regulate the industry. I welcome these measures with open arms.

        On one level, I am delighted to see the book thrown at people like that.

        On the other, I realize that criminals (and he counts as one) usually figure they will never get caught... or receive only a hand-slap as a penalty.

        Thanks for posting this info. It is good to see the FTC doing something positive for the marketplace!

      Im a gmail user and every so often one makes it through actually, probably once a month or so often. Compared to windows mail though gmail is doing superb, i get a handful come through every couple of weeks with windows mail.

      Im now waiting for an internet marketer to get slammed, hopefully it will wake a few people up.
