At A Crossroads....What do I do?

I have a review site / wordpress blog, where I have about 5 posts. My main post, or review, is currently at the top, but I want to add more content. It seems like my wordpress pages don't get indexed by google nearly as fast (or at all) by google, and my posts get picked up quick. My point is, I want my review up top so when visitors come to the page, the first thing they see is the review. But I still want to add content....What do I do? Can I insert posts under my review, and they will still get indexed?

Yes, possible to "sticky a post" by means of a plugin, or if you are willing to get your hands dirty, you can fix the review to be at the top by means of making it static - that is, push that content into the template at the appropriate place, so it stays on top for good. If that doesn't make sense, either give the plugin a shot, or pingback here and I can help you with the template editing (should not take me more than a couple of minutes if you let me on into the admin dashboard, but understandable if you don't want to!).

Yes... make the post "sticky" and all the rest of your posts will appear below it.

There is no different in the code generated between a post or a page by WordPress. Google cannot tell the difference. The only difference is where its located (if in a category or not, if your not using /%postname%/)

p.s. but the sticky plugin works great for keeping posts up at the top of the page.

Nevermind, I got it!? Under the options, there is "sticky",, "announcement", and "normal". It appears the "announcement" makes the post appear at the top of the page. So, I assume now, that my posts will still be picked up by the Search Engines, correct?

See link in my sig. Do all new posts get indexed by crawlers, regardless of position on the page? E.G. Will my new posts get indexed and ranked at some point? Thanks.

Err, sorry - but which of the two links in your sig?

Also, what's the title of the sticky post, and the test post that you made subsequently?

Edit: Sorry, didn't notice your update stating that it's fixed now. Congratulations

Oh, and the content that you add will eventually get indexed.

There is a WP plugin that I saw the other day that created a review page on a WP blog that was sticky. I no longer have the link, but it must exist. Just google wp plugin review or something like that and see if it comes up in the adwords listings. It is a new product so if someone is selling it, it should be there.

Seemed a little ironic that there is a buy.com ad next to your Debt Consolidation headline
