Why are so many complaining about Ezinearticles?

I have not been writing many new articles lately, just back linking existing ones. But after hearing all the hoopla about how EZA is getting hard to deal with i went back and wrote 22 articles over the last two weeks to see if i would be affected by this as well. I had all my articles approved rather quickly with no rejections.

They ranged from 250 to 400 words. They were 100% unique and provide good content. A few of them even skirted on the line in my opinion but they were approved. I do ave over 700 articles on EZA that were written entirely be me over the last two years so i have become familiar with how they operate and what i can get away with.

To get my article approved with no trouble this is what i did
No spelling errors

Did not keyword stuff the title

kept keyword density to 1%

used alot of LSI terms for my keywords

Used some of the EZA suggested keywords

provided useful tips, not a bunch of run on sentences compiled to make an article

kept the anchor text link to three words for articles under 400 words and 4 for anything over 400 words

Did not make wild claims in my resource box, just a simple call to action

Wrote unique content and did not rewrite any PLR or existing article directory articles

waited until EZA approved the article before i submitted it else where

Not claiming I am better then anyone else just wanted to share what worked for me.

I never had a problem with them. Maybe some people are writing really bad articles and that is why they are being rejected.

The last article I had a problem with was because they said the link lead to an article spinner. It took two rounds of "yes it does" "no it doesn't" before they said, "Oh, sorry, our mistake." And the article was approved.

There can be many different "problems" that not only have NOTHING to do with quality, but aren't actually problems to begin with.

But it's okay you didn't know that -- as you gain more experience online you'll see those things happen.

I saw a few complains around different webmaster forums, most of them doesnt really make any sense. I think ezine still is offering a great service.

I get an article tossed back to me once in a while - , it's always because it does not have 'enough original content' - that means the article stinks - and they are always right. Usually submitted on a 'tired' day. This is where your article swipe file comes in handy.

I just have not experienced any rejection issues with EZA that were not ultimately my fault.

I have no major complaints about EZA. Occasionally they will do something dumb like place a hold on one of my articles stating that it had "profanity" but when I read it and one of my helpers read it, we couldn't find any profane language in there. We asked the EZA editing staff to review it again and then said it had "profanity" in it. It took about 1 1/2 weeks to get it resolved.

Mr. Knight, if you're reading this it would be nice if your editors were more specific instead of wasting their time and our time by going back and forth on what the specific issue is.

Other than those intermittent road bumps, they've been pretty good. It still gets a lot of SE love. I have to say, though, I'm becoming a big, big fan of Allen Grave's Website Articles directory. No freaking ads on my article, that's how I like it baby!

    As a sidenote...

I would say that the number of people complaining about EzineArticles is a very, very small proportion of the total people who actively use EzineArticles on a regular basis.

It's just that the whiners/complainers are often a lot more outspoken than those that are happily utilising Ezine, and taking value from the mutually beneficial relationship between writer and article directory.

It would appear that many people are moaning about EZA, but they're just the loudest ones... a small number making a big noise if you ask me

Having said that, I would never put so much weight on an article directory like that. It is much more profitable and fruitful for my business to focus on submitting content to my own sites and using article directories as syndication spots for my used content

    Peace

LSI are words that are different but mean the same thing. example dog could be canine, puppy, poodle and so on.

EZA has been better than ever. As a platinum member, I have gotten some of my articles approved in less than 2 hours. I am also wondering why so many people are complaining!

Maybe it has to do with the fact that someone at EZA will approve a certain article, whereas someone else there that would have read the same exact article wouldn't have approved it. Or the person making the decision would approve an article one day, but wouldn't have on a bad day. I guess it all depends on whether or not whoever is making the decision got up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

Either way, it's quite obvious under certain circumstances that SOMEONE is getting up on the wrong side.
