My article has gone viral!

I wrote an article a few months ago and made some nice CPA profits from it. The article in question has since disappeared into the netherlands of cyber space. The thing is though, I am still getting tons of clicks to my CPA offer. I googled the title of the article and it seems that other webmasters have picked it up and two sites in particular are dominating the first two spots in Google. Thanks to them, they left the links to the CPA offer intact.

Not a Google trend offer but rather a randomly picked CPA offer. People can tell me what they want about article writing, keyword research, decent Bio box etc. But some articles just stick and others don't. There is always a bit of luck involved

Any idea why it fell in the rankings?
And which article directories did you use?

What do you mean? Putting your article in your forum link? That would be crazy, you would just give your profitable campaign away

No I think I'm wrong actually. I thought that Angela's was a service that gave a bunch of high PR forums that you could post your links in your Profile, not your sig, and you get juice from it. I need to revisit my materials..

      That's very cool man.

How much time did you spend writing the article?

Was it quality or just one of those junk articles everyone writes to get some SEO traffic?

      Thanks!
